Moog x BRUX

This project was my first opportunity to work with a brand I've known and loved for while - Moog Synthesizers! I love making music as well as art, and Moog instruments have flavoured some of my favourite music, from Tame Impala to Stevie Wonder. When BRUX told me she was collaborating with them for a video about how she used Moog instruments on her song "CA$HED UP", and wanted me to animate the whole thing, I couldn't wait to pour my heart into this animation.

We were heavily inspired by trippy animation such as Midnight Gospel and Adventure Time to create a weird and whacky video that capture the psychedlic tones of Moog synths, as well as the glitchy, boppy music of BRUX. Below are some selected storyboard panels, as well as the visual development for BRUX's character's face.
